Push to Regen - Episode 30

January 29, 2014

Well, well, well…

An almost three hour giant-sized episode of the PTR podcast is in your ears!

We go over the news - 12 days of Clixmas and War of the Light. We also bring back a classic segment - $3 theme teams! Featuring the X-Men versus SCIENCE!

Brian Roll, the Creative Director of HeroClix, was nice enough to join us on the show, and takes part in our 2013 Year In Review. We cap things off with the results of our Video Game Character drunk dial contest, as well as Tweet Mails, Nates Question, and the ever popular Space Canada Facts.

Also, just so you guys know - Rob and I will be taking a short hiatus from the show. A month, maybe two, to recharge the batteries and reinvent the show. We will be back, and when we return, PTR will be better than ever!

Push To Regen - Episode 29

December 14, 2013

We're back!

This episode, we have a very, VERY light news month, but we do get to play an awesome game between the employees of Hammer Industries and their Armored opponents.

We go rarity-by-rarity for the copious amounts of releases since last episode, and talk about which is our favorite for The Two Towers, Mage Knight, Desolation of Smaug, Arkham Origins, and Invincible Iron Man.

We also hear from our always amazing listeners, answer Nate's ridiculous questions, and drop some Space Canada knowledge (and apologize about the audio on NQotW and SCF - we recorded form the future).

Oh, and game on - it's time for another Drunk Dial contest!!

Thank you guys for listening, as always!

This week, the boys get into some quick news about Guardians of the Galaxy, Invincible Iron Man, Deadpool, and The War of the Light!

Our theme and common justice squads involve a very dark world full of Norse gods, and some dark elves led by the 9th Doctor.

In the anchor, we talk about the Watch List, specifically the changes that are going to impact the game.

All that, and your feedback, tweets, emails, Nate's Question of the Week, and Space Canada Facts, Yeah!

Push to Regen - Episode 27: THE REVENGE

October 11, 2013

First off, some errata from last episode, as the boys forgot that you can't double power action via mind control.

Guess what - we've hit 50,000 total downloads for the show!!! You guys are amazing! I think we'll have a contest soon...

In the news, we talk WatX Replacement, AvX, Superman and the Legion, and some breaking news about Cap: The Winter Soldier, and Days of Future Past.

In our previews, we discuss a Japanese giant, and a corporate mastermind. In our Common Justice / Theme Team discussions, we hit up a fight between the Brotherhood and Hellfire club, all of which took place in a sleepy little town in Oklahoma.

For our anchor segment this episode, we hit up the Watch List. What we think might change, our fears, hopes, and anything else we can toss at it.

And of course, your Tweetmails, Nate's Question of the Week, Space Canada Facts, and TWO 10 Second Dance Parties!

Push to Regen - Episode 26

September 1, 2013

Look at us with a regular schedule!

In this episode, we talk Worlds, Iron Man 3, and other miscellaneous news coming out of GenCon.

Our Theme Teams this week involve mighty space birds, and you really shouldn't have to guess what Rob ran as a theme team with common justice right after Wolverine and the X-Men dropped.

Our big segment this week goes in depth with what our favorite pieces from each rarity of WatX are, and eventually we go rapid fire on nearly every piece in the set.

All that, plus our awesome listeners tweets and emails - you guys are the best.

Push to Regen - Episode 25

August 17, 2013

The newest episode of the (hopefully) improved (regularly scheduled) and streamlined Push to Regen Podcast is here!

News, previews, Fear Itself Month 2, and our favorite theme teams and map discussions abound. We also play armchair designer, to see how close we are to guessing the upcoming sets.

Also - please note, this was recorded before everything was released for Wolverine & The X-Men…so yeah, we get a FEW things wrong.

Push to Regen - Episode 24

July 24, 2013

You should've known better, than to think we'd get an episode out on time!

Enjoy our dulcet tones! Revel in the amazingness that is 'Take This Heart!' And, of course, take part in the strangest 'Clix podcast this side of the I4 corridor.

We talk Fear Itself, Wolverine & The X-Men, and have a battle of the Team Girl Squad versus some mer-men in the Port of Miami.

This is seriously one of the weirdest episodes we've done, guys. We understand if we start hemorrhaging listeners because of it. :)

What's your #SummerAnthem? Don Henley, Atmosphere, and Kenny Rogers and the First Edition are all mentioned by the guys on this episode!

Push to Regen - Episode 23 Redux!

June 23, 2013

Seems like podbean is having some issues - so we're trying a re-upload to see if that solves the problem. :)

ANYWAY...

Episode 23 descends upon us! And with it comes a plethora - a host - a murder of information! And…a call for help.

We all know about the tornado that caused so much damage in Moore, OK on May 20th. We heard through comic writer Sterling Gates that one of our own was affected by the devastating storm.

Jake Langham is a judge at the Little Shoppe of Games in Oklahoma City. He lost everything in the storm - and while we can't give him back his home, we can help give back some of his HeroClix.  So dig into your doubles, your unused objects, and maps - lets help Jake out.

So, we're calling on you guys to help out. I know not all of you can, but if just one of you are able to send something, I'm sure it would help.

Send packages to the following address:

Jake Langham

℅ Little Shoppe of Games

5109 N. Shartel Ave.

Oklahoma City, OK

73118

We also talk about the new ATA's, our favorite pieces for the new PAC, as well as talking about the Trinity of Sin.

You guys are awesome. Thanks for being the best. :)
